Luisa co-founded Even Better If... with Mike Conaghan and together they are building an organisation to serve schools in the UK and internationally.
Included among the many highlights of Luisa's illustrious career are her appointment as Lambeth’s advisor for Portuguese achievement in 2006 as part of the borough’s Ethnic Minority Achievement Team and then as the borough’s advisors for Modern Foreign Languages, working with primary and secondary schools offering support in French, Spanish, Portuguese and German.
Luisa was awarded the Threlford Memorial Cup by The Charted Institute of Linguists for her innovative project to raise the achievement of Portuguese pupils through fostering the study of their home-language and promoting foreign language study to the wider school community.
More recent work as an independent consultant as a British Council Ambassador has seen her spread her expertise wider to support a range of training and development strategies for schools and independent teachers.
