Donato moved to the UK from Canada in 2013 keen to find work in the field of education. He initially spent time working as a teaching assistant in mainstream and SEND settings before working with a number of special schools to help them secure quality staff. He also underwent intensive Team Teach training and is fully qualified to offer this brand of positive handling support to schools.
Renowned for his exceptional candidate care, Donato was offered a role looking after candidate wellbeing. The role allowed him to to work with overseas teachers and to help them settle in the UK. His invaluable advice and guidance around the necessities required before arrival, securing accommodation, creating professional and social networks, not to mention his natural flair as a tour guide, meant that hundreds of teachers had everything they needed to succeed during their stay time here and were always full of praise for his efforts.
As well as providing excellent support each week to one of our nursery schools, Donato's focus at EBI is to ensure that wellbeing is always on the agenda, making sure that happiness and hard work go hand in hand in the EBI community.
